Is Tyra Banks Fat?

Former model and TV star http://www.eddiebaran.com/body_sculpting_women.html
is causing quite the ruckus
because she's not rail thin anymore.

Seems like the press was slamming her pretty hard for being

Then People magazine does a story on her and half of Hollywood
is defending her for not being a stick and having the right to weigh
more than 80 lbs. Of course none of these women would dare risk
her career by being bigger than a skeleton.

Now it seems like quite a lot of people are thinking that this gives
them permission to be fat and not exercise.

Even Tyra herself says she doesn't endorse obesity, and that every
person should exercise and eat right.

So the deal is this: You don't want to be too fat and you don't
want to be too thin. You want to be healthy.

And the only way to get healthy, i.e. not too fat and not too thin,
is to eat right and exercise right. I show you what exactly to do
with my Body Sculpting program
http://www.eddiebaran.com/body_sculpting_women.html

Wishing you the best,

Eddie Baran

4 Keys to Flat and Toned Abs

Getting fabulous abdominals is easier than you think.

Even if your jelly belly is jiggly and wiggly, you can reverse
this and make it something sensational.

Follow these 5 tips and you will sculpt an incredible midsection:

1. Move whenever you can.

This means taking the stairs, walking to the store if possible.
The more you move your body, the more your muscles work,
the more calories you burn, and the flatter your belly becomes.

2. Do the same exercises that the women with the best abs do.

I'm talking about gymnasts and martial artists. My program
BodySculpting Bodyweight Exercises for Women
- http://www.eddiebaran.com/body_sculpting_women.html
- is filled
to the brim with these ab flattening exercises, with beginning
through advanced variations.

3. Don't just go through the motions.

When you do exercise, pay attention to form and to intensity. You
shouldn't sleepwalk through your workouts. Focus on what your body
is doing and put some effort into it. It's ok for beginners to go
through
the motions, but not others. Know the key details like I discuss in my
body sculpting DVDs.

4. Eat the right foods.

No junk or unnatural foods. (For a detailed description on what to
eat and what not to, check out my Body Sculpting Eating System
that comes with my program).

Following these tips will completely transform your tummy and
lose the flab. And remember that when you tighten the abs and
the rest of the body follows.

Wishing you the best,

Eddie Baran

P.S. Nothing says Health and Vitality like a tight and toned tummy.

Body Sculpting Book Now in Spanish

Yes, you heard right. Now you can sculpt your body in Spanish.

When I wrote my Body Sculpting Bodyweight Exercises for Women
I knew right away that I would translate it into as many languages
as possible. And I knew that Spanish was going to be the first
non-English version. I've always liked the language.

Not sure if it's because I grew up in San Diego, California right
near the Mexican border, or that I have a bachelors degree in
Spanish.

Whatever my reason you have to admit that Spanish is a musical
and rhythmic language that is the language of movement.

And exercise.

So of course I was eager to have it translated into this great
language. This way not only English speakers can benefit from
my program but Spanish speakers as well.

True, customers from around the globe have bought my book,
from Asia to Africa, from Europe to South America. But now I
can connect on a more personal level to others around the globe.

And I've got to admit, the combination is incredible. Body
sculpting exercises in Spanish is the perfect match. A lyrical
language to describe lyrical exercises to sculpt you a lyrical body.

The entire book is in Spanish (DVD's are coming shortly) and so
is the website. For all of you who'd like my best selling Body
Sculpting Bodyweight Exercises for Women book in Spanish,
go here now http://http://ejerciciosbaran.com/ and get your very
own copy of Ejercicios Baran, Ejercicios Femeninos de Peso Corporal.

Now you can have the same great exercises in Spanish as you
have in English. If you speak Spanish or know someone who does, or
if you are learning Spanish, this is the perfect book for you.

Mis mejores deseos,

Eddie Baran

P.S. Now you can get lean, strong and sculpted in English and in
Spanish. Go here now http://http://ejerciciosbaran.com/ to get the

I Loathe This...

The other day I was watching some inane show on TV (is there
really any other kind) and I was too slow to change the channel
before the most dreaded commercial in America came on:

The Subway commercial with Jared.

Being too slow on the draw exposed me to the monstrosity that
is the new Subway commercial. I truly despise these.

For those of you unlucky enough to know what I'm talking about
here, these commercials for the sandwich franchise feature its
spokesman Jared. Jared at one time weighed something like 8,000
pounds but after eating a diet consisting only of Subway sandwiches
he got his weight down to about 200.

Although eating subs is not the best way to go, I admit that I do
admire anyone who improves himself, no matter how he does it.
So Jared's is a pretty impressive feat. I respect him for this.

But his method is not the best way to lose flab.

And I gotta say that Jared isn't looking too fit. Actually he never
really did. Yes, more fit at 200 than at 500, or whatever he
originally weighed. But I can tell that his body is not optimally
healthy.

It's like this: Instead of being 600 lbs of fat, he's now 200 lbs
of fat. The problem with Jared is that he has no muscle. He is
the perfect example of why diet alone cannot do it for you. You
must have exercise to get muscle.

Muscle is what gives your body tone. Muscle is what gives your
body shape.

No exercise, no muscle.

And you must do the right exercise, not just any.

My guess is that if Jared is doing any exercise it's the typical
stuff the average person does: some cardio and some weights.
Better than nothing, but not very effective.

Jared should be doing bodyweight exercises like I show in my
program Body Sculpting Bodyweight Exercises for Women
http://www.eddiebaran.com/body_sculpting_women.html
It's not just for women. The exercises are the best of the best
from the sports of gymnastics and martial arts.

If Jared did the exercises in my program just as I teach them
he'd notice his body getting leaner, more muscular (but not
bulky), more flexible, more conditioned, more agile and more energetic.

And the same goes for you.

Wishing you the best,

Eddie Baran

P.S. If you look like you are on the Subway fitness program, you
need to get on my program instead. Get your body toned and strong

From Thunder Thighs to Wonder Woman

At one time my good friend Tiny Rivers wasn't so tiny. She was,
to put it bluntly, hefty, beefy, burly.

In fact, her legs were so big they used to rub together so badly
the inner seams were rubbed down to threads. She'd generate
so much heat from the friction her legs would catch on fire. Ok,
that part's not true but she was a big girl, her thighs earning her
the title "Thunder Thighs."

But to look at her now you'd never suspect for a moment she had
anything but a perfect body. Picture a black Wonder Woman, only
10 times better built. Lean, strong, muscular, powerful, but 100%
woman.

When she found out how to help herself, she began training others
in the same way. She is one of the most sought-after personal
trainers in the state of Florida. Now, thankfully, she has come out
with a program of her own to turn other women into super wonder women.

Tiny's story is a fascinating and inspirational tale. Her story has
helped countless women. Read her story here by going here

Mom is Skinnier Now Than Before

Here's a letter from a mom who was fighting the baby fat but
has won that battle. After using my program and following exactly
as I told her, she has gotten some great results:

.--...--.-..

Hey Eddie,
I needed to lose the extra baby fat I put on with my son and
was having problems getting rid of the last 15 pounds. So I
ordered your program. I got the  DVDs, the book, the whole 9 yards.

I love your program because its so quick and simple and I can
just get it done before my son attacks me and wants to play. I
mostly do the fab five. I change it up a little when  I have extra
time.

I am now skinnier than I was before I had my son. It's great.
And my back side is doing great, too. I did what you said
and it started to work right away. It is now nice and firm.

I love your program http://www.eddiebaran.com/body_sculpting_women.html
because it's so easy and doesn't take 5 hours, and I don't
even have to leave my house, which is great since I have a small child.

Things are going wonderful! Thank you again so much.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. Your program is awesome!
Mira H.

Mira,
Awesome job. Congratulations on doing on getting the body you
want. You did what you had to do and got the results. Can't get
any easier than that.

.--...--.-..

It's simple. Just follow the program a little each day and you will
get your body into beautiful shape. Nothing fancy or complicated,
and you can do it from the comfort of your own home.

Wishing you the best,

Eddie Baran

Rosario the Riveter

During WWII, Rosie the Riveter was a symbol of women's strength.
When the men went off to fight the war in Europe and Asia,
the women fought the war at home, working to keep the country
afloat by filling in the vacant jobs in the factories.

Rosie's poster represented these women. With her "We Can Do It"
motto and her bicep-flexing pose, her image said women were
just as capable as men.

Last weekend at Matt Furey's fitness seminar I had the pleasure
of meeting a present-day Rosie (and a Baran Body Sculptress).
Her name is Sue Rosario. She's rock solid, all muscle, a real
powerhouse.

I have henceforth christened her "Rosario the Riveter."

During my presentation on gymnastic ab exericses, I was
pleasantly surprised how well she did the exercises I was teaching.
Tells me she had been intently studying the details of my body
sculpting DVD's http://www.eddiebaran.com/body_sculpting_women.html
She did as I instructed: make your movement like a work of art.
I was impressed and proud of her.

And the proof was in the pudding. Her body looked like it was
carved out of granite. Not an ounce of fat, and all lean, sculpted
muscle.

Later I watched her beaet every man in a pushup and squat
contest. I was blown away by her athleticism.

I figured she was about 30 years old. When I found out she was
almost 50 I was floored. Like I always say, age is irrelevant. Sue
is stronger and in better shape than most men half her age.

Like Rosie the Riveter before her, Rosario the Riveter proved
that there are no limits and you can do anything you set your
mind to - like get a lean chiseled body - age and gender matter not.

Wishing you the best,

Eddie Baran

P.S. To paraphrase RtR's motto, You Can Do It. But first you
actually have to get it. Get it here NOW

Looking to Fail

Yesterday my office got a call from an irate customer.

She said she was 50 years old and in good shape yet she couldn't
do the exercises in my program. She didn't try doing them but
came to this conclusion by quickly flipping through the book.
From this she made her decision.

She didn't even bother watching the DVD's that clearly explain
how anyone of any level can use these exercises. Without even
trying - and she says she's in good shape - she said she couldn't
do the exercises.

Truth is she wouldn't do them. She quit before she even started.
She is comfortable in her discomfort.

I have customers in poor shape in their 70's doing these exercises
http://www.eddiebaran.com/body_sculpting_women.html . They
start with the easiest exercises in the program and do whatever
they can manage, be it one rep or a half a rep. Then they progress
up from there.

This woman was looking for reasons to fail. And she found them.

She wanted to be angry and wanted to gripe. So she saw her
opportunity when she got my program and figured that here's
yet another program that didn't work. She decided this without
even trying. No doubt she'll be off to the next program and quit
without trying that either.

Instead of looking for ways to fail, look for reasons to succeed.
Look to fail and you will. Look to succeed and you will. Simple as
that.

Fitness is for everyone and so is exercise. But there are some
out there who want the magic pill. They expect a program where
all they have to do is buy it and they lose weight. There is no such
program.

You actually have to move your body to make muscle. But not
for hours. 15 minutes a day of the most comprehensive exercises
on the planet gets the job done. But you have to do them.

If you're looking for fitness without exercise then you're only
fooling yourself and looking to fail.

Wishing you the best,

Eddie Baran

P.S. The only requirement to get in shape is to move your body
and look to succeed. Go here now if you have what it takes
